Pressland is the first comprehensive map of the global media supply chain, built to restore public trust. Think "IMDb" for news, media and journalism. Pressland hired me to overhaul their "Whitepaper". A whitepaper is a persuasive, authoritative, in-depth report on a specific topic that presents a problem and provides a solution. In tech, a whitepaper often goes heavily into the theory of a product or service that a company provides.
This project included a lot of work inside Adobe Acrobat, including internal links from the table of contents to each page/chapter, external links to articles and sources, and more.
Pressland came to me with a brand identity already created by a well-known design firm. They had an old whitepaper that needed to be updated using the new visuals, which meant re-creating the entire 66 page document from scratch. Using their new brand guidelines, I was able to create a cohesive PDF document with new graphic assets and impressive functionality. My main goal was to create a document that matched the feel of Pressland's already great brand identity. I also introduced chapter introduction pages and headers for each page to break up the information and give the whitepaper a better flow.
